1. Definitions
- "Godrop Services"
- Bike taxi rides, package delivery, food delivery, and related transportation services
- "Rider" or "User"
- Any individual booking or using Godrop transportation services
- "Driver" or "Delivery Partner"
- Verified individuals providing bike taxi or delivery services
- "Ride" or "Trip"
- A transportation service booked through the Godrop app
- "Fare"
- The total amount payable for a ride or delivery service
- "Service Area"
- Geographical areas where Godrop services are available
2. Service Description & Eligibility
Godrop provides on-demand bike taxi and delivery services through our mobile application. To use our services:
- You must be at least 18 years old
- You must have a valid Indian mobile number
- You must comply with local transportation laws
- You must not be intoxicated or under influence of substances
Safety First: All riders must wear helmets during bike taxi rides as per Indian traffic laws. Godrop is not liable for injuries resulting from failure to wear helmets.
3. Account Registration & Security
3.1 Account Requirements
To book rides, you must:
- Provide accurate personal information
- Verify your mobile number via OTP
- Add valid payment method(s)
- Maintain account security and confidentiality
3.2 Account Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts for:
- Violation of traffic or safety rules
- Abusive behavior towards drivers
- Frequent cancellations without valid reason
- Payment fraud or chargebacks
- Booking rides for illegal activities
4. Booking & Ride Terms
4.1 Booking Process

Ride Booking: When you book a ride, you agree to:
- Provide accurate pickup and drop locations
- Be available at pickup point within 5 minutes of driver arrival
- Wear a helmet (for bike taxi rides)
- Carry valid ID proof if requested
- Follow COVID-19 safety protocols
4.2 Cancellation Policy

4.3 Prohibited Activities
- Carrying illegal substances or contraband
- Transporting hazardous materials
- Exceeding passenger limit (max 2 for bike taxi)
- Carrying oversized luggage without prior approval
- Requesting rides for minors without adult supervision
- Using services for commercial courier without authorization
- Smoking or consuming alcohol during rides
- Requesting drivers to violate traffic laws
5. Pricing & Payments
5.1 Fare Calculation
Fares are calculated based on:
- Base Fare: Minimum charge per ride
- Distance: Per kilometer rate
- Time: Per minute rate during traffic
- Dynamic Pricing: During peak hours or high demand
- Tolls & Parking: Additional charges if applicable
5.2 Payment Methods
We accept multiple payment options:

- Cards: Credit/Debit cards (domestic & international)
- Net Banking: Major Indian banks
- Godrop Wallet: Prepaid wallet with bonus offers
5.3 Refunds & Disputes
Refund requests must follow our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Disputed charges must be reported within 7 days.
6. Safety & Liability
Important Liability Disclaimer: Godrop acts as an intermediary platform connecting riders with drivers. While we verify drivers and implement safety features, we are not liable for:
- Traffic accidents or injuries during rides
- Loss or damage to personal belongings
- Delays due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen circumstances
- Driver conduct or vehicle condition
- Package loss or damage during delivery
6.1 Rider Responsibilities
As a rider, you must:
- Wear helmet during bike rides (mandatory)
- Fasten seatbelts where available
- Not distract the driver during ride
- Report safety concerns immediately via SOS feature
- Verify driver and vehicle details before boarding
6.2 Insurance Coverage
Godrop provides third-party insurance coverage as per Indian motor vehicle laws. Personal accident insurance is the rider's responsibility.
7. User Conduct & Behavior
Users must maintain appropriate conduct:
- No abusive language or behavior towards drivers
- No discrimination based on gender, caste, religion, etc.
- No smoking, alcohol, or substance use during rides
- Respect driver's property and vehicle
- Pay fares promptly and accurately
8. Delivery Services Terms
8.1 Package Delivery

- Maximum package weight: 10 kg for bikes
- Prohibited items: Cash, jewelry, illegal items, hazardous materials
- Package must be properly packaged and labeled
- Recipient must provide valid ID for high-value items
- Delivery proof (photo/OTP) required for completion
8.2 Food Delivery

- Delivery within promised time frame (subject to conditions)
- Food quality is responsibility of restaurant
- Temperature maintenance as per food type

9. Privacy & Data Protection
Your privacy is protected under our Privacy Policy. We collect location data during active rides for safety and service improvement.
10. Intellectual Property
The Godrop app, logo, and all related content are trademarks of Godrop Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Godrop against any claims arising from:
- Your violation of these terms
- Your misuse of services
- Injury or damage caused during rides
- Legal violations during service use
12. Termination
We may terminate access to services for violations. You may terminate your account by contacting customer support.
13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
13.1 Governing Law
These terms are governed by Indian laws, specifically:
- Information Technology Act, 2000
- Consumer Protection Act, 2019
- Motor Vehicles Act, 1988
- Applicable state transportation regulations
13.2 Dispute Resolution
Disputes will be resolved through:
- Customer support mediation (7 days)
- Escalation to grievance officer (15 days)
- Arbitration in Mumbai as per Indian Arbitration Act
- Legal proceedings in Mumbai courts
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Major changes will be notified via:
- In-app notifications
- Email to registered users
- SMS for critical changes
